Job Summary
As a full-time Host, you will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring they have a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience. Your responsibilities will include greeting and seating guests, managing guest flow and seat mapping reservations, bussing and resetting tables, and facilitating takeout orders. You will maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area, support waitstaff, and help create a friendly, inviting atmosphere.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and seat guests promptly and courteously.
  • Manage reservations and waitlists.
  • Clean and reset tables.
  • Facilitate takeout orders over the phone and from our online ordering system.
  • Provide menu information and assist with any guest inquiries over the phone and in person.
  • Support waitstaff during busy periods.

Experience

  • Previous hosting experience and/or general experience in the food service industry is strongly preferred.
  • Strong organization and time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest relations and customer service.
  • Knowledge of Japanese cuisine is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
