We’re on the lookout for a friendly and energetic Host or Host to welcome guests and set the tone for a memorable dining experience. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact, creating a warm, inviting atmosphere and ensuring smooth seating and guest flow. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly as they arrive, making them feel comfortable and valued from the moment they walk in.
• Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to ensure accurate seating arrangements.
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to optimize table turnover and minimize wait times.
• Maintain a clean, organized reception area and ensure menus are tidy and available for guests.
• Provide guests with information about menu options, specials, and restaurant policies with clear communication skills.
• Handle guest inquiries over the phone with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
• Assist in managing guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously to enhance overall guest satisfaction.
• Support the team during busy hours by helping with basic food service tasks or guest assistance when needed.
• Uphold health, safety, and sanitation standards to ensure a safe environment for both guests and staff.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a host or host in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and a friendly attitude are key!
• Strong communication skills to connect effectively with guests, team members, and management.
• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
• Knowledge of food service operations, including restaurant procedures and guest services, is highly desirable.
• Excellent phone etiquette and ability to handle guest inquiries professionally over the phone.
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Customer service-oriented mindset with a passion for hospitality and creating positive guest experiences.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $9.00 - $12.00 per hour
