Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a smooth dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for hospitality, as you will be responsible for managing reservations, seating arrangements, and guest interactions in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and inviting demeanor.
• Manage the seating chart and ensure efficient table turnover.
• Handle reservations and walk-in guests effectively to minimize wait times.
• Provide information about the menu, specials, and restaurant policies to guests.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the entrance and dining area.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless guest service.
• Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally to enhance their experience.
• Utilize POS system (TOAST POS) for managing reservations and orders as needed.

Experience

• Previous experience in hospitality or customer service roles is preferred.
• Familiarity with food service operations in a restaurant or hotel setting is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills with an emphasis on guest relations and customer satisfaction.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Knowledge of POS systems is beneficial but not required; training will be provided.
