Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and personable Host to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for our guests. As the first point of contact, you will ensure every guest feels valued and attended to from the moment they arrive. Your enthusiasm and excellent communication skills will set the tone for an exceptional dining or hospitality experience. Duties

• Greet guests promptly with a friendly and professional demeanor, making them feel comfortable and appreciated
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using Open Table
• Answer phone inquiries with courteous phone etiquette, providing accurate information and assistance
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth flow of guest service and seating logistics
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station and waiting areas to uphold high standards of hospitality
• Assist with guest inquiries, special requests, and seating adjustments to enhance guest satisfaction
• Support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring a memorable experience

Skills

• Proven experience as a Host or Hostess in food service or restaurant environments
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect positively with diverse guests
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including phone etiquette
• Familiarity with Open Table and Aloha POS for reservations and billing processes is preferred
• Previous restaurant or hotel experience is highly desirable
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Knowledge of hospitality principles, guest services, and serving procedures
