Host

At Nocturno Cocktail Bar Las Vegas, hospitality begins at the door. We are looking for a warm, organized, and detail-oriented Host/Hostess to help create a welcoming first impression while maintaining the flow and atmosphere of our intimate cocktail bar and dining experience.

Nocturno is built around the experience of Cocktail, Cuisine, and Conversation. Our hosts are responsible for setting the tone of the evening through genuine hospitality, thoughtful communication, and strong awareness of the guest experience from arrival to departure.

Responsibilities

• Greet all guests warmly and professionally upon arrival
• Manage reservations and waitlists through reservation platforms and walk-in traffic
• Maintain accurate seating rotation and table flow
• Communicate effectively with bartenders, servers, management, and kitchen staff regarding guest needs and table status
• Escort guests to tables while providing menu and venue introductions when appropriate
• Answer phone calls, reservation inquiries, and guest questions professionally
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entry area
• Assist with opening and closing duties
• Monitor guest experience and assist in creating a comfortable, welcoming environment
• Uphold Nocturno’s standards of hospitality, presentation, and professionalism

Qualifications

• Previous host, restaurant, or hospitality experience preferred
• Strong communication and multitasking skills
• Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced environment
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
• Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Familiarity with reservation systems such as OpenTable or Toast preferred
