We are a sushi bar dedicated to delivering an exceptional dining experience through fresh, high-quality ingredients and warm, attentive service. Rooted in Japanese hospitality and modern dining, we pride ourselves on creating a welcoming environment for every guest who walks through our doors. We have a full bar and cocktail lounge with food service, a dining room, and a private dining room.

We are currently seeking a Host to be the first point of contact for our guests. If you have a passion for hospitality, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and love making people feel at home, we’d love to meet you!

Position Summary

As a Host, you will play a key role in shaping our guests’ first and lasting impressions. You will manage reservations, greet guests warmly, and ensure smooth front-of-house operations. Your professionalism and positivity will help create a seamless and enjoyable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Warmly greet and welcome guests upon arrival and departure.
• Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and waitlists (RESY experience a plus).
• Ensure smooth guest flow during peak dining periods.
• Provide accurate information about the menu, specials, and restaurant policies.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve concerns promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with the service team to maximize guest satisfaction.
• Assist with food & beverage delivery support as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting host stand and entry area.
• Monitor bathroom and front-of-house cleanliness throughout service.
• Support special events or private dining functions as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 or older
• Previous host or hospitality experience required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (in-person, phone, and email).
• Ability to remain calm and composed in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Positive attitude with a guest-first mindset.
• Team-oriented approach, with flexibility to assist as needed.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays!

Preferred Skills

• POS experience (Toast preferred).
• RESY or similar reservation system knowledge.
• Familiarity with Japanese food and culture.
