We are seeking an energetic and personable Host to be the welcoming face of our establishment. As the first point of contact for guests, you will create a warm, friendly atmosphere that sets the tone for an exceptional dining or hospitality experience. Your enthusiasm, excellent communication skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks with professionalism will ensure guests feel valued from the moment they arrive. Duties

• Greet guests promptly and warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Maintain a clean and organized host stand, providing a welcoming environment
• Answer phone inquiries with professionalism and courtesy, assisting with reservations or guest questions
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to optimize seating flow and reduce wait times
• Assist guests with special requests or accommodations to enhance their experience
• Handle guest concerns or complaints with empathy and resolve issues swiftly to ensure satisfaction

Skills

• Proven experience as a Host or Hostess in food service or restaurant settings
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including phone etiquette
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for managing reservations and guest billing
• Previous restaurant or hotel experience is highly desirable
• Knowledge of guest relations, serving protocols, and hospitality standards
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $15.00 per hour
