Hosting and general guest assistance.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly as they arrive and escort them to their tables.
  • Manage the reservation system and maintain an accurate waitlist during busy periods.
  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints with professionalism.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station.
  • Utilize Toast POS system for managing reservations and guest information.
  • Provide information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies to guests.
  • Assist in coordinating special events or large parties as needed.

Requirements

*Night and weekend availability is required.

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Excellent phone etiquette for handling reservations and inquiries.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 per hour
