Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Hostess to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage guest relations will be key to your success in this position.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables.
• Manage and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize the flow of guests.
• Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions.
• Assist with maintaining cleanliness in the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
• Utilize POS systems, such as Toast POS, for efficient order processing when necessary.

Skills

• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Toast POS, is preferred but not required.
• Previous experience in restaurant environments is a plus.
• Knowledge of guest services and hospitality best practices.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills for building rapport with guests and colleagues alike.
