Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in creating a welcoming environment for our guests and ensuring a seamless experience from the moment they arrive. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and a passion for the food industry, contributing to the overall success of our establishment.

Duties

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, providing exceptional customer service throughout their visit.
• Manage guest parties and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow, and use the wait list application during full cafe seating times smoothly.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
• Assist with bartending duties as needed, ensuring compliance with all safety and health regulations.
• Support banquet services by setting up, serving, and clearing tables during events.
• Utilize POS system for order entry and payment processing, ensuring accuracy in all transactions.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests for all orders including "to-go" take-out.
• Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, providing solutions or escalating issues as necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area, including dining spaces and foyer areas.
• Help support the servers with food running, processing Doordash and UberEats orders efficiently

Qualifications

• Proven experience in customer service roles within the food industry or retail environment is preferred.
• Keeping a smile at all times while welcoming guests and wishing them well as they depart the cafe
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced atmosphere while maintaining attention to detail.
• A positive attitude and a willingness to help others are crucial for success in this role.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
