Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression
• Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as SpotOn
• Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover while maintaining guest satisfaction
• Answer incoming phone calls with courteous phone etiquette, assisting with inquiries and reservations
• Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure seamless service flow
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area to uphold a welcoming environment
• Assist with guest inquiries, special requests, and provide information about the restaurant’s offerings

Qualifications

• Previous host/hostess experience or food service background preferred but not required
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and hospitality
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Experience in restaurant or hotel guest services is advantageous
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Professional appearance and positive attitude are essential for success in this role

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
