Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements
- Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Answer phone inquiries with professionalism, providing accurate information and taking reservations as needed
- Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and service flow
- Maintain a clean, organized host stand and lobby area to uphold a welcoming environment
- Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and feedback courteously to foster positive guest relations
- Support team members during busy periods by assisting with guest needs and ensuring smooth operations
Skills
- Proven experience as a Host or in a similar customer service role within food service or restaurant environments
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; hotel experience is a plus
- Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills to handle inquiries and resolve issues effectively
- Knowledge of hospitality standards, including guest services, serving, and restaurant operations
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Positive attitude, teamwork orientation, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
