Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Hostess to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their experienceat Silver Moon. You will be responsible for greeting guests, managing reservations, selling self serve tap cards, and ensuring that all guests feel welcomed and valued. Your excellent communication skills and attention to detail will contribute to a positive atmosphere in our restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival.
• Inform guests about daily specials, promotions, or in house events.
• Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area, including the host stand.
• Answer phone calls with proper phone etiquette, assisting with inquiries and reservations.
• Scan all patrons IDs upon arrival to ensure they are of legal drinking age
• Administer self serve tap cards to all patrons planning on using the self serve tap system
• Escort guests to the lounge/bar area
• Handle guest relations with professionalism, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
• Utilize POS systems such as Toast POS for managing orders and reservations.

Requirements

• Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Familiarity with POS systems is a plus; experience with Toast POS is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
• Previous bar/restaurant experience a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
