Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly with genuine enthusiasm, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the first interaction.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently, optimizing guest flow and wait times.
• Assist guests with inquiries about menu items, restaurant policies, or special accommodations using clear communication skills.
• Coordinate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Handle guest concerns promptly and professionally, turning any issues into positive resolutions.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized host stand and ensure all guest areas meet cleanliness standards.

Experience

• Prior experience as a host or hostess in food service or restaurant settings is highly preferred.
• Strong customer service background with excellent communication skills and phone etiquette.
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
• Experience in hotel or hospitality environments can be a plus, demonstrating adaptability across guest services roles.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and a positive attitude.
• Demonstrated ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
