Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression
• Manage reservation lists and walk-in guest flow to optimize seating efficiency
• Escort guests to their tables, ensuring they feel welcomed and comfortable
• Assist servers by clearing empty dishes, resetting tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
• Support the service team with timely table turnovers to enhance guest satisfaction
• Handle guest inquiries with clear communication and positive attitude
• Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to assist with guest orders when needed
• Maintain knowledge of restaurant menu offerings and special promotions to answer guest questions confidently

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a host/hostess or busser in a food service or restaurant setting preferred
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
• Excellent communication skills and phone etiquette for engaging with guests and team members
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Hospitality or hotel experience is advantageous but not required
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, guest relations, and serving procedures is beneficial
