Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and personable Host to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests and ensure they have an exceptional dining experience. As the first point of contact, you will be responsible for greeting guests, managing reservations, and coordinating seating arrangements with efficiency and warmth. Duties

• Greet guests promptly with a friendly and positive attitude, making them feel valued from the moment they arrive
• Manage reservations and waitlists using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring smooth flow of seating
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to optimize seating arrangements and reduce wait times
• Answer guest inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism, providing accurate information about wait times and restaurant offerings
• Maintain a clean, organized host stand and ensure all guest areas are welcoming and well-presented
• Handle guest concerns or special requests with tact and promptness, escalating issues when necessary
• Assist in maintaining guest relations by providing attentive service, ensuring guests feel appreciated throughout their visit

Skills

• Proven experience as a host or hostess in a food service or restaurant environment
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including phone etiquette
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for reservation management
• Knowledge of hospitality standards, guest services, and restaurant operations
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
• Previous hotel or guest relations experience is a plus but not required
