Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and personable Host to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests and ensure they have a memorable experience from the moment they arrive. As the first point of contact, you will play a vital role in managing guest flow, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting the overall efficiency of our restaurant or hospitality environment. Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to optimize flow and comfort
• Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently
• Communicate clearly with guests regarding wait times, menu specials, and restaurant policies
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service operations
• Maintain a clean, organized host stand and lobby area to uphold high standards of guest presentation
• Handle guest inquiries over the phone with professional phone etiquette, providing accurate information and support
• Support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously, ensuring a positive dining experience

Requirements

• Previous host/hostess experience in a food service or restaurant setting preferred
• Strong customer service skills with excellent communication abilities
• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, serving protocols, and hospitality standards
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in hotel or guest services is a plus but not required
• Professional appearance and friendly demeanor with strong phone etiquette

Pay: From $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
