Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly first impression of the restaurant.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to minimize wait times.
• Assist servers by clearing tables, resetting dining areas, and delivering food or beverages when needed.
• Support the flow of service by running food from the kitchen to tables promptly and accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness in dining and service areas, ensuring a tidy and inviting atmosphere.
• Answer guest inquiries courteously via phone or in person, providing information about menu items or restaurant policies.
• Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders or assist with guest payments when required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a host/hostess, busser, runner, or in food service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, including POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS, is a plus.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and hospitality.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting trays or clearing tables comfortably.
• Professional phone etiquette and guest relations experience are advantageous.
