Host (Friday, Satursday)

Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and welcoming Host to be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a positive and memorable experience from the moment they arrive. As a Host, you will be responsible for greeting guests with enthusiasm, managing reservations, and ensuring smooth seating arrangements. Your friendly demeanor and excellent communication skills will set the tone for an exceptional hospitality experience, fostering guest satisfaction and loyalty. Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression
• Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover while maintaining guest comfort
• Answer incoming phone calls with courteous phone etiquette, handling inquiries and reservations
• Assist guests with seating preferences and special requests to enhance their experience
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area and waiting area
• Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure seamless guest flow and service delivery

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Host or in a customer service role within food service or restaurant settings preferred
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
• Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Experience in hotel or hospitality environments is advantageous
• Excellent guest relations skills, including attentive listening and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Professional phone etiquette and a friendly, approachable demeanor
