Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage waitlist procedures with professionalism and efficiency
• Assist hosts and hostesses in managing reservations and seating arrangements to optimize guest flow
• Support servers by delivering food and beverages promptly, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations
• Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders, payments, and handle guest inquiries accurately
• Provide exceptional guest services by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring a positive dining experience
• Uphold phone etiquette standards when handling reservations or guest inquiries via phone or online platforms

Experience

• Prior experience as a host or hostess in a food service or restaurant setting is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is key
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests, team members, and management
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency in processing transactions
• Experience in hotel or guest services roles can be advantageous in delivering superior guest relations
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, serving procedures, and hospitality best practices is beneficial
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $14.42 - $16.00 per hour
