Location: DFW Airport, Terminal D
Pay: $16.00 – $17.00 per hour

Job Summary

Host / Grab & Go:
This position greets all guests entering the restaurant and also serves as a Grab and Go Cashier in our To Go area. Responsibilities include taking orders, ensuring accurate order delivery, processing payments, seating guests efficiently, assisting servers as needed, and performing light cleaning duties.

Experience in a prior host/hostess role is a plus but not required, as a structured training program is provided. This position requires strong communication skills, an outgoing personality, professional appearance, positive interaction with guests and coworkers, and good salesmanship. Employees must be able to lift up to 30 pounds, perform frequent bending, stooping, and twisting, and stand for the entire shift.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm, friendly welcome and create a positive first impression
• Manage guest seating efficiently to ensure smooth service flow
• Communicate accurate wait times and coordinate with servers to optimize the guest experience
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area
• Assist with to-go orders and guest inquiries
• Uphold all safety, sanitation, and airport security guidelines

Requirements

• Two valid, unexpired government-issued IDs (no tears, creases, or lamination)
• Ability to pass an FBI fingerprint background check for airport clearance
• Reliable transportation to/from DFW Airport
• Availability for AM & PM shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Previous high-volume serving experience preferred
• TABC certification required (or must obtain before starting)
• Requirements
• At least 2 years of experience working in a high-volume, casual dining concept (for example: Chili’s, Buffalo Wild Wings, Applebee’s, TGI Friday’s, etc.)
• Must be able to pass a federal background check and FBI fingerprint screening to work within DFW Airport
• Must live within 15 to 20 miles of DFW Airport
• Ability to stand for the entire shift and perform frequent bending, lifting, and reaching
• Must be rehire able from HMS Host and Star Concession to be considered,
