Host at Mirador

ROLE/PURPOSE/OVERALL EXPECTATIONS OF THIS POSITION:

EXPECTED SCHEDULE:

Variable Schedule including possible weekends and holidays

Primary Responsibilities:

· Demonstrate genuine hospitality and set the stage for an Exceptionally Distinctive Guest Experience by making every single guest feel welcome upon arrival

· Assist in preparing the dining room for service and/or events

· Review, plan and execute table placement for reservations

· Communicate reservation notes with managers and co-workers

· Greet and seat guests- Maintain awareness of pace of dining room

· Review, plan and execute table placement for reservations

Requirements:

· 2 years experience as a host in a fine dining atmosphere

· Must have upbeat, outgoing and positive attitude while being detailed –oriented and organized

· Must be able to assist guests and possess great guest relations skills

· Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills along with time management and multitasking

· Ability to be on your feet and alert for extended periods of time

· Must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays

· Answer questions and make personalized suggestions regarding food and beverage pairings

· Experience with a reservation system is required

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
