Ten Five Hospitality is excited to announce the launch of a new restaurant and lounge concept in Georgetown. We are seeking dynamic, experienced professionals to join our team as we create an elevated dining experience. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in fine dining service & a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality.
Position Summary
The Host sets the tone for the guest experience by providing a warm welcome while overseeing seating, reservation management, and dining room flow. This role includes building familiarity with repeat guests and maintaining detailed guest profiles, including preferences and special notes. The ideal candidate is polished, confident, and able to anticipate guest needs.
Duties & Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and professionally, creating a positive first impression.

Escort guests to assigned table or bar seating, ensuring the space is properly set and ready for service.

Update and maintain guest profiles, including preferences, special occasions, and repeat guest notes.

Manage guest inquiries by Answering phone calls, making reservations and responding through the appropriate channels.
- Monitor reservation books and provide accurate wait times.

Collect and store menus as well as clean when appropriate.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the floor plan, table numbers, and service sections.

Manage seating rotation to ensure fair distribution and balanced service across stations.

Complete room checks and update the floor management system accordingly.

Monitor table status and readiness to ensure accurate seating and guest counts.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand, entrance, and menus.

Complete opening, sidework, and closing duties.

All other duties as assigned.

Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for an extended period.
- May be required to lift trays of food or drinks up to 20 lbs.

Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks.

Must be able to bend or lift up to 50 lbs.

Six (6) months previous restaurant or hotel experience.

Excellent listener and communicator.

Ability to focus on guest interaction and multitask.

Team player and able to anticipate others’ needs.

Knowledge of seating management systems such as Resy and Sevenrooms (preferred but not required).

Experience with answering phones in a reservation system.

Positive Attitude.

Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays when required.
