Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and welcoming Host or Hostess to join our dynamic hospitality team! Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly, positive attitude as they arrive, making them feel welcomed and appreciated
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Maintain waitlists and communicate wait times clearly to guests, ensuring smooth flow of seating
• Assist with guest inquiries over the phone, demonstrating professional phone etiquette and guest relations skills
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and service delivery
• Keep the host stand organized, clean, and stocked with menus and promotional materials
• Handle guest concerns promptly and courteously, striving to resolve issues to ensure guest satisfaction

Skills

• Proven experience as a host or hostess in a food service or restaurant environment
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred
• Previous restaurant or hotel experience is a plus, demonstrating knowledge of hospitality standards
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
• Knowledge of guest services, serving etiquette, and phone etiquette to enhance guest relations

Pay: $10.00 - $25.00 per hour
