Host or Hostess - Front-of-House Ambassador for a Dynamic Japanese Steakhouse

Mizu Japanese Steakhouse, renowned for offering a unique and memorable dining experience, is actively seeking a Front-of-House Ambassador with high energy and a passion for customer service.

As the first point of contact for our esteemed guests, your role will be integral to our reputation and success. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, managing guest flow through applications like OpenTable, coordinating to-go orders, and assisting our service team in providing exceptional dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and seat guests upon their arrival.
• Manage reservations and walk-ins with the help of OpenTable.
• Handle to-go orders efficiently, ensuring accuracy and promptness.
• Assist servers by refilling drinks and providing any necessary support.
• Uphold our high standards of hospitality and make guests feel valued and taken care of.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanor.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in using reservation management software (OpenTable experience is a plus).

Schedule:

We are primarily hiring for shifts from Thursday to Sunday, but scheduling can be flexible and subject to change.
