Host / Server Assistant

Overview

Join our team as a Host / Server Assistant, where you’ll play a key role in delivering an exceptional dining experience. In this fast-paced position, you’ll be the welcoming first impression for our guests while also supporting the service team as both a Food Runner and Busser. Your energy, attention to detail, and teamwork will help ensure smooth service, clean and organized dining spaces, and timely delivery of food. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage seating to ensure balanced service flow
• Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently while maintaining clear communication with guests and staff
• Deliver food from the kitchen to guests quickly and accurately, ensuring proper presentation and order accuracy
• Clear, clean, and reset tables promptly to maintain a clean and welcoming dining environment
• Assist servers by refilling water, pre-bussing tables, and supporting guest needs throughout service
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand, dining room, and service stations
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth and timely service
• Handle phone inquiries professionally, including reservations and guest questions
• Assist with opening and closing duties as needed

Experience

• Previous experience as a Host, Food Runner, Busser, or in a restaurant setting is preferred but not required
• Strong sense of urgency and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Positive, guest-focused attitude with a willingness to support all areas of service
• Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail
• Familiarity with restaurant operations or POS systems is a plus

Pay: $14.00 per hour
