Host/Cashier

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Cashier to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and seamless dining experience. You will be responsible for greeting guests, and handling transactions efficiently. If you have a passion for customer service and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, providing an exceptional first impression.
• Manage seating arrangements to optimize guest flow.
• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately using the Lavu POS system or similar point-of-sale systems.
• Answer phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, assisting guests with inquiries.
• Collaborate with kitchen and wait staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
• Address guest concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring positive guest relations.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with Lavu POS or other point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented atmosphere while maintaining individual responsibilities.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
