Job Summary

Atlantic Buffet is looking for a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Cashier/Host to join our team. This position is responsible for greeting guests, handling payments, answering phones, seating customers, and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a positive and welcoming attitude
• Seat guests and manage wait times when needed
• Answer phone calls and assist with customer questions
• Operate cash register and process payments accurately
• Handle takeout orders and customer transactions
• Maintain cleanliness of the front counter and lobby area
• Assist guests with buffet pricing and restaurant information
• Help resolve customer concerns professionally
• Work closely with servers and management to ensure smooth operations
• Follow restaurant policies and food safety guidelines

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Friendly, professional, and team-oriented attitude
• Ability to multitask in a busy environment
• Basic math and cash-handling skills
• Reliable transportation and punctuality
• Previous restaurant or cashier experience preferred but not required

Pay: From $10.00 per hour
