Host/Cashier/bussier

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Host/Cashier to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while ensuring smooth operations at the front of the house. This position requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both guests and team members.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Manage reservations and waitlists, providing accurate wait times to guests.
• Take orders and process payments using the POS system efficiently.
• Assist guests with inquiries about the menu, specials, and services offered.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area, including menus and dining tables.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
• Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism, aiming for resolution and satisfaction.

Skills

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
• Nice communication skills, both verbal and written, with good phone etiquette.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment while maintaining composure.
• Familiarity with POS systems is a plus but can be learned on the job.
• A positive attitude and willingness to help others are essential traits for success in this role.
