
- Welcome and greet the Guests always with a smile, be polite and show positive attitude.
- After Checking the guests name, find them on a list, doble check how many persons they are, so that accordingly the managers can accommodate.
- Daily service starts as per the schedule prepared by the Restaurant Manager.
- Check with the phone reservations or any recorded message on the answering machine to assure you have all the reservations.
- Check with manager to assure there are no larger or private parties you do not know about it.
- Check dining room service stations for tidiness and sanitation.
- Checks Temperature of the customers and note their details as per the prescribed format.
- Send daily cover report to departments (FOH & BOH).
- Phone call should always be answered within three ringtones answered with a clear voice.
- When new reservation is received over the phone or by email, enter in the system (EAT).
- Double check all the reservations have correct details and are updated at all the times (spelling, notes or any special request).
- Ensure the reception desk area is always clean and tidy.
- Update the table plan well in advance in coordination with the managers and double check the assigned tables.
- Send an updated reservation report for dinner by 6:30 to all the departments (FOH & BOH).
- Ensure you are available at the reception during the working hours, take prior permission before leaving the reception area.
- Send daily reports, the reservation for next day and the weekly forecast service to the manager.
- Clean the menu (QR Code).
- Read and respond to emails on daily basis after due consultation with the manager.
- Calling the customers and confirming the reservations between 11:30 -12:30 for lunch and between 5:30 – 6:30 for dinner.
