Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression.
• Manage guest seating arrangements, ensuring efficient flow and adherence to reservation protocols.
• Handle all cashiering duties accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, including processing payments and issuing receipts.
• Answer phone inquiries with professionalism, providing information about the menu, reservations, or general questions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area to promote a welcoming environment.
• Assist with guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously to ensure complete satisfaction.
• Support team members with additional tasks such as taking orders or assisting in food service when needed to enhance overall guest experience.

Qualifications

• Prior host/hostess experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
• Strong background in food service and customer service roles, demonstrating excellent communication skills.
• Experience operating POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, guest services, and hospitality standards.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for engaging with diverse guests.
