Hostess Cashier

Duties

• Greet guests warmly as they arrive, providing a positive first impression and guiding them to their seats or waiting areas
• Manage guest waitlists and reservations with clear communication and organization
• Handle guest inquiries politely via phone and in person, offering helpful information about menu items and services
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS accurately to process orders and payments efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand, ensuring a welcoming environment at all times
• Assist with guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction
• Support food service staff by coordinating seating arrangements and managing guest flow during busy periods

Requirements

• Prior experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred
• Strong customer service skills with excellent communication abilities
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
• Previous restaurant experience, including serving or guest services, is a plus
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a lively environment while maintaining professionalism
• Knowledge of phone etiquette and guest relations best practices
• Hospitality background or hotel experience is advantageous but not required
• Reliable, punctual, with a friendly attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
