Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly with a friendly and energetic demeanor, providing excellent first impressions.
• Manage guest seating by coordinating reservations and walk-in arrivals to optimize flow and wait times.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently.
• Handle cashier duties including billing, payments, and issuing receipts with professionalism and attention to detail.
• Maintain clear communication with kitchen staff and servers to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Assist with phone inquiries, reservations, and guest questions using proper phone etiquette.
• Support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously, ensuring a positive experience for all visitors.

Requirements

• Previous host/hostess experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse guests.
• Experience working with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, serving procedures, and hospitality standards.
• Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills to foster a welcoming environment.
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
