Hostess Cashier

Job Summary

Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a positive first impression of our establishment
• Manage guest seating by coordinating reservations and walk-in requests to optimize flow and wait times
• Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism, providing information and taking reservations as needed
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS accurately for processing payments and orders
• Handle cashier duties including cash, credit card, and digital payment transactions with precision
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand and cashier station to ensure a welcoming environment
• Provide exceptional guest services by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring guest satisfaction

Experience

• Prior experience as a host or hostess in a food service or restaurant setting is preferred
• Experience working with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
• Strong customer service background with excellent communication skills and phone etiquette
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, guest relations, and hospitality standards is a plus
• Previous hotel or guest services experience can be advantageous but is not required
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
• Experience with serving or food service roles enhances understanding of restaurant workflows
