Hostess Cashier

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly as they arrive, providing exceptional guest service and answering any questions with enthusiasm.
• Manage reservations and seating charts to optimize flow and reduce wait times, ensuring a smooth dining experience.
• Maintain a clean, organized host stand and dining area, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process guest payments accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with taking phone reservations and handling guest inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
• Collaborate closely with servers and kitchen staff to coordinate seating and service flow.
• Support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly, ensuring every visitor feels valued and appreciated.

Requirements

• Prior experience as a host/hostess or cashier in food service or restaurant settings is preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members.
• Experience operating POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable.
• Excellent phone etiquette and guest service skills, including hospitality experience in hotels or restaurants.
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining a friendly demeanor throughout interactions.
• Knowledge of food service operations, guest relations, and serving procedures is a plus.
