Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide a friendly, professional first impression
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using POS system Open Table
• Coordinate with the service team to ensure smooth seating flow and timely guest service
• Answer phone inquiries with courteous phone etiquette and assist with reservation bookings or guest questions
• Maintain a clean, organized host stand and ensure all guest areas are welcoming and presentable
• Assist with guest relations by addressing special requests or concerns promptly and courteously
• Support the restaurant team during busy periods by providing excellent customer service and facilitating guest flow, helping with pre-bussing, water service, clearing tables and side work.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Open Table reservation system
• Prior experience as a host or hostess in fine dining or upscale restaurants preferred
• Strong customer service skills with a positive, energetic attitude
• Elegant appearance
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
• Previous food service or hospitality experience, including serving or guest services, is highly desirable
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
• Knowledge of guest relations experience is advantageous but not required
