Hostess, Food Runner

Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and friendly Hostess, Food Runner to join our vibrant hospitality team. Duties

• Greet members warmly upon arrival and manage waitlist procedures with professionalism and enthusiasm
• Escort members to their tables, ensuring a smooth and welcoming seating process
• Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to relay guest needs and expedite food delivery as a Food Runner
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables promptly
• Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders or assist with transactions when needed
• Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions or concerns courteously and efficiently
• Support the team during busy service periods by assisting with guest inquiries via phone etiquette and in-person interactions

Experience

• Previous Host/Hostess experience or food service background preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is key
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with guests and team members
• Experience with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Knowledge of guest services, serving protocols, and hospitality standards enhances your effectiveness in this role
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude during high-pressure situations

Pay: From $14.00 per hour
