Job Summary

We are looking for a friendly, professional, and organized Hostess/host to join our team. The Hostess/host is responsible for creating a welcoming first impression for guests by greeting them warmly, managing reservations and waitlists, and ensuring smooth seating flow throughout the restaurant. This role plays a key part in delivering an exceptional dining experience. Attitude is everything about this role!

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and professionally upon arrival
• Manage reservations, waitlists, and guest seating arrangements
• Escort guests to tables and provide menus
• Answer phone calls and assist with guest inquiries
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entrance area
• Coordinate with servers and management to optimize table rotation and guest flow
• Communicate estimated wait times accurately
• Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned
• Provide excellent customer service and handle guest concerns professionally

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanor
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• Previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred, but not required
• Open table knowledge preferred, but not required

Schedule

• Full-time and part-time positions available
• Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays preferred

Work Environment

This position works in a fast-paced restaurant setting with constant interaction with guests and team members. The ability to stand for extended periods is required.
