Hostess/Busser

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Host/Busser to join our team in providing exceptional customer service in a restaurant setting. The ideal candidate will assist in creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests and ensure smooth dining experiences. This position will also give you the potential to grow and move into other positions within our restaurant.

Wage and Hours

- $17.17 hourly pay

- Tips given weekly

- Shifts are anywhere between 4 - 8 hours

- Potential to pick up more shifts as needed

Qualifications

- Food Handler's Permit

Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and timely manner
- Assist servers with delivering food and beverages to tables
- Clear and reset tables efficiently to maintain a clean dining area
- Handle guest inquiries and provide information about menu items
- Operate Toast POS system for order entry and payment processing
- Maintain cleanliness of the host station and dining area
- Collaborate with the kitchen and serving staff to ensure guest satisfaction

- Answering phone calls for guest inquiries or for taking to-go orders

Preferred Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred, but not necessary
- Ability to work well under pressure and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills to interact with guests and team members
- Knowledge of guest relations and customer service principles
- Familiarity with restaurant industry standards
- Proficient in phone etiquette for communicating with guests

Job Type: Part-time
