Hostess/Cashier

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Cashier to join our team in the hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while efficiently managing front-of-house operations. This position requires excellent communication skills, a strong customer service orientation, and the ability to handle various tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide them with seating options.
• Manage the reservation system and ensure accurate seating arrangements.
• Handle cash and credit transactions efficiently using Aloha POS or similar systems.
• Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about menu items, specials, and reservations.
• Assist guests with inquiries, ensuring exceptional guest relations and services throughout their visit.
• Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure smooth operations and timely service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front area, including menus and waiting areas.
• Address any guest concerns promptly and effectively to enhance their dining experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hotel or restaurant settings is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written.
• Proficient phone etiquette for handling inquiries and reservations.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• A positive attitude with a willingness to help others.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
