Hostess/Cashier

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Host/Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. You will manage guest seating arrangements, handle cash transactions, and assist with any inquiries to enhance the dining experience. Your ability to communicate effectively and maintain a positive attitude is essential in delivering outstanding hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage their seating arrangements efficiently.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system, including Aloha POS, ensuring all payments are processed correctly.
• Provide information about menu items and assist guests with their selections.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area.
• Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction.
• Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
• Uphold phone etiquette when answering calls related to reservations or guest inquiries.

Experience

• Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, or food service environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems, especially Aloha POS, is a plus.
• Strong communication skills with an emphasis on guest services and hospitality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A positive attitude and willingness to help others are essential traits for success in this role.
