We are on the lookout for a friendly and energetic Hostess/Expo to join our vibrant hospitality team. Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly smile and assist with seating arrangements to ensure efficient flow of the dining area.
• Manage guest reservations and waitlists using POS systems like Aloha or Micros to optimize table turnover.
• Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to coordinate timely food delivery and guest satisfaction.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining areas, adhering to health standards.
• Handle guest inquiries over the phone and in person with professionalism, providing accurate information about menu items and services.
• Support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously, ensuring a positive experience for all visitors.
• Help with expo duties by coordinating food orders between kitchen and servers, ensuring orders are accurate and timely.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a host/hostess or in a customer service role within food service or hospitality is preferred.
• Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and guest interaction, are essential.
• Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
• Experience working in hotels or similar hospitality environments is advantageous.
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
• A friendly, approachable demeanor with excellent guest service skills.
