You’ll coordinate seamlessly between the front of house and kitchen, delivering exceptional service that keeps our guests coming back. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, manage waitlists, and seat guests efficiently to optimize flow and satisfaction
• Assist servers by delivering food promptly from the kitchen to tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand, dining areas, and service stations to uphold a welcoming atmosphere
• Communicate clearly with kitchen staff and front-of-house team using effective phone etiquette and communication skills
• Support guest relations by addressing questions or concerns with professionalism and a positive attitude
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements using Open Table
• Ensure guest safety and comfort by adhering to health and safety protocols at all times

Experience

• Prior experience as a host/hostess or in food service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is key
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members
• Experience working with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
• Previous hotel or guest services experience can be beneficial in understanding high standards of hospitality
• Ability to stand, walk, and move quickly for extended periods in a busy environment
• Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills are essential for creating a welcoming atmosphere
