Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival with genuine friendliness and professionalism
• Manage reservations efficiently using Open Table
• Escort guests to their tables, ensuring comfort and satisfaction throughout their visit
• Answer phone inquiries promptly, providing accurate information about the restaurant and wait times
• Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover while maintaining guest satisfaction
• Assist with guest inquiries and special requests, demonstrating excellent guest relations skills
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area to uphold a welcoming ambiance

Experience

• Prior experience as a host or hostess in a food service or restaurant setting is preferred but not required
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse guests
• Experience with POS systems such as Toast
• Background in hospitality, hotel guest services, or serving enhances your ability to excel in this role
• Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills are essential for creating positive interactions
• Previous experience in food service, customer service, or restaurant operations is highly valued
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
