Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly as they arrive, making them feel comfortable and appreciated.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements using POS systems like Aloha or Micros to optimize guest flow.
• Answer phone inquiries politely, providing information about wait times or reservation details with clear communication.
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and smooth service transitions.
• Maintain a clean and organized host stand area, ensuring all materials are tidy and accessible.
• Assist in managing guest waitlists during busy hours, keeping guests informed about wait times.
• Support guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and courteously.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and guest interaction.
• Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is a plus.
• Experience in hospitality, hotel, or guest services enhances your ability to connect with diverse guests.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
• A friendly attitude with excellent customer service skills to create a welcoming environment.
