Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and friendly Hostess/Host to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests and ensure they have a memorable dining experience. As the first point of contact, you will be responsible for greeting guests, managing reservations, and coordinating seating arrangements with efficiency and warmth. Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression
• Manage reservations and waitlists using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to optimize seating flow
• Coordinate with the service team to assign tables efficiently and accommodate special requests
• Answer phone inquiries with courteous phone etiquette, providing accurate information about wait times and reservations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting area to ensure a welcoming environment
• Assist with guest inquiries, provide directions within the restaurant, and handle guest relations with professionalism
• Support the restaurant team during busy periods by managing guest flow and ensuring smooth seating transitions

Experience

• Previous host/hostess experience in a fast-paced food service or restaurant setting preferred
• Strong customer service skills with a passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction
• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
• Background in food service, serving, or hotel guest services is advantageous
• Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and guest relations management
• Familiarity with restaurant operations, including reservation management and guest seating procedures
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude
