Hostess/Host

Job Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Host/Host. As a Host/Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing them with a warm welcome and ensuring their dining experience starts off on a positive note. Your excellent communication skills and ability to provide exceptional customer service will contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Duties:
- Greet guests as they arrive and seat them at their designated tables
- Provide menus to guests and assist with any questions they may have
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station
- Manage reservations and waitlist, ensuring accurate seating arrangements
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth flow of service
- Assist in taking phone reservations and answering guest inquiries
- Handle guest complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
- Monitor dining room for seating availability and communicate wait times to guests
- Assist with general restaurant tasks as needed

Skills:
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to provide exceptional guest services
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
