Full‑Time | Hostess / Host

Position Overview

We are seeking a seasoned, career‑minded Hostess to join our full‑time front‑of‑house team. This role is foundational to the guest experience and requires a high level of sophistication, discretion, and operational awareness. The ideal candidate has experience in Michelin‑caliber or similarly refined dining environments and possesses the ability to manage reservations and guest flow with precision, grace, and strategic foresight.

As the first and final touchpoint for our guests, the Hostess embodies the restaurant’s philosophy, setting the tone for a seamless and memorable dining experience.

Core Responsibilities

  • Welcome and engage guests with impeccable professionalism, warmth, and refined hospitality language, both in person and over the phone
  • Expertly manage reservations, waitlists, and table flow using OpenTable, ensuring thoughtful pacing and optimal seating strategy
  • Independently adjust and manipulate seating arrangements in real time to balance guest experience, section equity, and kitchen flow
  • Clearly and confidently communicate table availability, wait times, and dining expectations while maintaining guest trust and comfort
  • Coordinate seamlessly with management, service staff, and culinary teams to support flawless execution of service
  • Maintain composure and oversight during high‑volume service, special events, and peak reservation periods
  • Uphold immaculate personal presentation aligned with Michelin‑level brand standards
  • Anticipate operational needs and willingly step in to support the team in any capacity required for a successful service

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years hosting experience in an upscale, fine‑dining, or Michelin‑caliber restaurant
  • Advanced proficiency with OpenTable and reservation management best practices
  • Proven ability to strategically manage seating and pacing in a high‑expectation environment
  • Exceptional verbal communication skills with mastery of elevated hospitality verbiage
  • Strong organizational skills, discretion, and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and remain poised under pressure
  • Team‑first mentality with a natural sense of leadership and accountability

Schedule & Commitment

  • Full‑time position, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by service
  • Long‑term interest in hospitality and fine dining strongly preferred

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
