What you’ll do

• Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly smile, ensuring they feel right at home.
• Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently to optimize guest flow and minimize wait times.
• Provide menus and offer information about daily specials, enhancing the dining experience.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, fostering positive guest relations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area to create an inviting environment.
• Utilize Point of Sale (POS) systems, including Aloha POS and Micros POS, for efficient order processing.

Basic qualifications

• Previous host/host or restaurant experience is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills to engage effectively with guests and team members.

Preferred qualifications

• Background in food service or hospitality is a plus.
• Experience with guest relations and serving techniques to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Proficient phone etiquette for handling reservations and inquiries professionally.
