Host/Food Runner

Job Summary
We are looking for summer support staff. We are hiring for host/hostess and food runner. Some candidates may qualify for both positions. We have a strong team environment and provide a fun but professional place to work!

Expectations include:

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage waitlists efficiently to ensure smooth seating flow
• Assist hosts in coordinating reservations and managing guest flow during busy hours
• Deliver food orders promptly from the kitchen to tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to facilitate seamless service
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations and dining areas
• Provide friendly assistance to guests with questions about menu items or restaurant policies
• Support guest relations by addressing needs promptly and courteously, enhancing overall satisfaction

Experience

• Previous experience as a host or hostess in a fast-paced restaurant environment preferred but nor required
• Food service or hospitality background highly desirable, with a focus on guest interaction and service excellence
• Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and guest engagement techniques
• Experience in hotel or guest services can be advantageous for understanding hospitality standards
• Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure
• Prior serving or food running experience is beneficial but not required; training will be provided
